Alexander R. Hartman

Alex Hartman is an Associate Attorney at Pfarr & Rethore PC, focusing in estate planning, tax planning, probate and trust administration. Alex also works with clients in business formation and corporate governance. With a strong educational background, Alex holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the W.P. Carey School of Business. This academic foundation is complemented by a career in the financial services industry with well-known and respected advisors and asset managers. This unique background equips Alex with a comprehensive understanding of the financial aspects crucial to both estate planning and estate administration.

Alex’s client’s spans all age groups, from retirees planning their legacies to young professionals laying the foundation for their futures. Based in the greater Phoenix area, Alex is dedicated to helping clients in this region navigate the complexities of trust and estates planning.  He is an Arizona native.

Alex also helps clients navigate the, often bewildering, world of trust and estate administration after the passing of a loved one. He firmly believes in close collaboration with not only personal representatives and trustees but other trusted professionals including financial advisors and CPAs to make the process as smooth as possible. 

Outside the office, Alex is a history buff, a culinary enthusiast and foodie who also enjoys experimenting with the latest technology and gadgets. These passions reflect Alex’s well-rounded approach to life and complement the diverse skill set they bring to the legal profession
